Sky, Land and Sea was an exhibition of glass sculptures by Chimene Taylor and landscape paintings by Pat Hazzledine.

Chimene’s works were inspired by nature, landscape and the concept of Wabi-sabi, accepting beauty that is imperfect, impermanent and incomplete in nature. Each piece was individually sculpted and fired and irregularities were gilded to bring out their beauty rather than trying to cover them up. 

Pat, who loves living and working in Orkney, paints her home island of Shapinsay: scenes from the coast, cliffs, moorland and old farm buildings which have fallen into decay.
