Portraits of Friends and Neighbours

Calum, who has lived here in Orkney since his family moved from Stornaway when he was a teenager, has been painting seriously for over 20 years. In addition to his ongoing series of portraits he undertakes commissions; recently completing a large group portrait for a local business. People living locally will be familiar with ‘The Bookseller of Stromness’, a large portrait of Tam MacPhail that hangs in the library.
