Three Types of Ambiguity

The starting point for the linocuts on show was to explore the various meanings and perceptions of one pictorial expression of a general principle or truth. At the same time Patty wanted to try different techniques of linoleum cutting and printing. She combined the two by concentrating on the well-known proverbial principle of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" as evinced by The Three Wise Monkeys.
