The Sea Between

Meg Telfer says her first real memory of the sea is of going on a fishing boat, as a child, to the Bell Rock Lighthouse and the sea, sand, land and sky has always been somewhere in her work.  Since moving to Skelray to live permanently in 1991 the North Coast of Scotland has been a constant source of inspiration.  With the outline of Orkney on the horizon it wasn’t long before it became part of the story too.
